So what is social retail, and how can you make money online?
I’ve been asked countless times over the last eight weeks since I started my new online business precisely what I do – what is social retail and how I make money online? …and how I help other people to make money online.
So I hope that this blog, first of all, finds you well – and secondly, I suppose if you were asking those questions of yourself that this answers them.
The internet has created a unique opportunity for customers to purchase any brand when and how they like from our lounge chairs in the morning, in the daytime, at night, having a glass of wine while watching Netflix. Double screening, as it were. Watching one screen while on another screen. It’s amazing. I do it. I’m sure you do too. Groceries, clothing, shoes, in my case. I do have a slight obsession. We can shop online from home without having to leave home. It’s an incredibly convenient way to shop.
Now many companies have capitalised on this, and they’ve used social platforms to grow via word of mouth. Now, when customers share a discount code with others, they receive dollars towards the next purchase.
HelloFresh is a perfect, perfect example. I love HelloFresh. I love that it works for me. I share it with my friends. I get money off, and they get money off their first order and potentially subsequent orders.
So social selling gives anyone the power to share their favourites online with anybody. So when we combine the trend of online shopping and direct sales, a shift in retail happens, and it disrupts, but it’s not entirely new. And we’re going to get to that.
So I know there are hundreds of thousands of people around the world who have tried their hand at direct sales and/or network marketing, and they may have had some success, but in many cases, the majority of cases, limited success.
Now, the reason for that is that it actually takes confidence and a whole lot of skill to recruit people. And in the direct selling and traditional network marketing space, how you make money is building teams, as opposed to just bringing on customers who know and love a product and want to share it. Therefore a lot of those hundreds of thousands didn’t succeed, and they’ve given up on that industry. In a customer model, we teach people the simple skills to attract customers by sharing a link, much like HelloFresh does, which we just spoke about.
So back to disruption. Netflix didn’t invent movies, did they? They just found a better way to rent and stream videos. Uber didn’t create a taxi service. They just found a way to bring together the driver and the passenger for a ride. In fact, Uber allowed the average person to make an income using their car, much like social retail enables the average person to make an income from their phone using their social media. It’s pretty simple.
So often creating a better way, disrupts the old way of doing things. And to be honest, I kind of like being part of the disruption. I kind of like being a disruptor. So it’s safe to say then that social retail is absolutely disrupting the direct sales and network marketing space. So why not do the same thing for products that people use an hours every day?
The concept of social retail absolutely revolves around this simple idea, rewarding people for sharing products that they already love. I don’t know about you, but I do this every day anyway. In fact, I’ve done it for years. I did it well before I was paid to do it. I’m always that girl who would share their favourite movie, their favourite restaurant, their favourite wine, whatever it is. I just found a way to leverage what I was already doing and turn it into an income in an enjoyable way. And now I get paid to help other people to do the same. I coach and mentor people to do the same.
So Modere, which is the company that I’ve chosen to partner with, is the first retail brand to incentivise social sharing with cash and the power of people. And we call these people social marketers. I’m a social marketer, and I lead a team of social marketers and what they do is this: The social retail model is designed to create lifelong loyalty because social marketers don’t just get a single reward for every referral. They’re paid on each purchase that a referred customer makes in their lifetime.
So let’s just think about that for a minute. Basically, getting a piece of every purchase of say liquid collagen, health supplements, protein, powders, skincare, laundry detergent, everyday products that we use on our body and around the home. The list goes on! Every person that you share a great, safe, high-quality product with, you get paid, and you get paid as well on every person they share it with.
That’s called a leveraged income and that my friends is incredibly powerful, and it’s why I love this industry and won’t ever leave.
The model is working, and it’s not just working for a few of us. It’s working for hundreds and hundreds of people. I get so excited! Every social marketer at Modere has, on average 7 to 10 customers. My favourite step, though, is that 30% every month, of sales of the Modere products, come from customers sharing a link with their friends. So customers bringing in new customers. That is powerful, and that is leveraged income.
Why does that happen? Why are they sharing their link? Because the products are on-trend and they’re what people want.
So I hope that explains what social retail is. I hope that explains what I’m doing. I hope that explains how you can make money online with your phone and your social media.
It’s helped us literally last month alone, bring on over 3000 customers globally, 3000 customers globally because we have world-class safe, beautiful products that people want.
So if making money online sounds like something that you could do and that you want to do – then absolutely reach out to me, and we can have a chat.
If one of my team shared this blog with you, then please reach out to them and have a conversation with them or with me.
I’m available absolutely to share with you. I’ve been in this space for over five years, and I have never been more excited about what I have found. Social retail disrupts, and it works. It’s also only $60 to come on as a social marketer, plus the cost of your products, which are products that you’re using every day anyway.
So whether you are somebody who has tried their hand at direct selling and network marketing, or maybe you never have, and there’s a reason that you never have…I just ask you, if you are somebody that needs a cushion in your life, you’re somebody that maybe wants to escape the nine to five? Perhaps you want an extra holiday a year (when we can fly again). Then this model is worth looking at because if nothing changes, nothing changes. If nothing changes, nothing changes. And I know that to be an absolute fact.
